For reasons lost to time, Crunch42 is the name Julian Hockings chose for his consulting business. Julian has been programming since he was a wee lad, and he’s been working on websites since 2000. His first program was a multiple-choice trivia game for Commodore BASIC in 1979. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, cooking, and working on his cabin and truck.
Julian understands that the average client doesn’t care about the underlying technology of their website just as long as the thing works. He also doesn’t have any interest in proposing additions to websites that the client won’t need because he knows that just makes extra work! A pleasant work-life balance is key, and getting the project to the “it works well” stage as quickly (and therefore inexpensively) as possible is his goal at all times.
Per client approval, Julian will work with the occasional assistant or subcontractor on larger projects.
